That was shocking!
It seems that our scheduled author is so traumatised that he appears to be in hiding. The GHF community at large cannot believe what they have just seen.
Oh, for a Tony Adams or a Frank McLintock in the dressing room! Now is not the time for a cerebral massage it’s time for guts and animal passion.
Sunday’s NLD is the ideal challenge for the moment. If our players cannot find the focus and cojones to win that game – which will certainly be a physical battle. – we will know for sure that we still haven’t found the magic formula for winning silverware.

Mercifully short! Cheers baff!
On to Sunday!
Short, sharp and spot on, Bath.
TTG@previous drinks: I hope you are right about the Wolves game being a low-water mark. We have two games against City to come in the league and the League Cup, and potentially three more in the CL and the FA Cup, which will likely define the destination of this season’s silverware. We desperately need a rising tide to get us off the mudflat on which we have become unexpectedly stuck.
And a reminder that the latest GHF Predictathon leaderboard has been posted. You know where to find it…
@3 NBN, Mikel made no mention of mudflats, rising tides and the like in his invitation and encouragement to join in and enjoy the end-of-season jolly boys boat trip. I took up his offer enthusiastically but now the whole thing is feeling much more ‘Good Ship Venus’ than QE2.
I’m now wondering whether the depth of the mud on this mudflat may be too much for my new red and white wellies? The next full moon in the UK is the “Worm Moon” on March 3, 2026, at 11:38 am GMT. It should bring with it a goodly high tide but, blow me down, that won’t happen before the lads have to toddle down to the lane on Sunday afternoon.
Perhaps the monks can conjure something up?

Oh yeah, forgot about it, cheers Ned @ 4.
Further plummeting down the table to add to the doom, I see :-).
At least I am in good company with Matt on the way down.
